Anna discovered some fairly cheap Polaroid film in town today which allowed us to finally use the camera we found back in Settle. This is my very first attempt at using the camera and what else would I wish to take a photo of than my wonderful girlfriend. At the moment we can only take a maximum of ten pictures. So unlike with our digital cameras where I have become so accustomed to just taking photos of anything and everything I now need to revert back to what life was like before everything became so digital in order to make the most out of the limited film we have and the nine shots that remain. It seems like a very tough way to live.
I particularly loved the magic moments after taking the picture; watching and waiting to see how (and if) the photo developed. Being part of the digital world I had never seen this process happening before so it was quite exciting for me to see and I am really looking forward to taking the next picture.
