Two weeks ago our neighbours stole our green box which is used for collecting recyclables. Our neighbours already had 2 or 3 green boxes but this doesn’t seem to be enough for them who seem to recycle an obscene amount of bottles from their fortnightly alcohol intake… and not a lot else! This has meant that we have had nowhere to put all of our recycling items but today was time for the road to put the boxes out for collection again. On my way home I noticed our box still with “9″ taped onto the side although they had tried to rip it off to claim it as their own. So I decided to swipe it back from the street and we wanted to make it much more obvious that the number 9 meant that it belonged to us and was not theirs for the taking – something that those scumbags have done more than once before. Johan had some incredibly bright flourescent paint so we masked and painted up a couple of 9′s around the edges and on one side masked a “nine” really big (as shown above) so even in their presumed intoxicated state they should not be tempted to take our box again!
