The View – Keep On With The Force Don’t Stop
Its not exactly been the most productive week with just 2 new nuggets of content but otherwise I think it has been a very good week!
This Week:
On Monday I randomly met Ash for lunch. At the same time Dad came back from Dubai.
That evening I just compelled to retrace my steps of the day and ended up finding a message that I had wrote to myself and left it in my cereal box at breakfast!…
I watched as a suicidal fly dived into my drink to cool off from the scorching heat of Thirstday, it tried to swim a bit or maybe it was trying to escape but it died instead.
Possibly the highlight of this week was that I spent one evening catching up with Rob Murray. I hadn’t seen him since we were at school! He popped by with Mike so I sent Anna with them in the hope that it would cheer her up a bit and then I joined them a little later. Ash came a short while after that and was paranoid about wearing shorts and wanted to go home and change all night long but he’s just silly. I think out of everyone I went to school with Rob has had the most different path in life and he had so many stories to tell it was really fascinating to meet him again and we all had a really great night and didn’t want it to end!
That evening I dreamt the most random things and yet I had one of the best nights sleep in a very long time!
I spent an afternoon catching up and playing games with our Mal which was really good because we haven’t seen each other since before Holland.
Had a wonderful dinner with Anna, Sara, Micheal, Dad and Natacha and spent some time sharing photos with each other on the TV.
Anna lost her till number and was deleted from the system because of some kind of “mixup” courtesy of her former manager but in the same day was praised for her excellent customer service.
I had a lot of fun playing with Devils Sticks and showing Jody how to do it a bit! She picked it up quite quickly and even thought it was addictive. I’m not doing too badly with them having only practiced with them for one week and when I first picked them up I thought it would be impossible!!
I watched Superman Returns for the first time! I enjoyed it but it is quite long and I don’t really like long movies because I either get very restless or end up falling asleep.
Also watched Lost’s – The Incident with Mal so now he’s caught up with the rest of the world having watched every single episode in the space of just a couple of months and will just have to wait for the new season for the remaining answers like the rest of us! But he is a proper fan now, finally a convert, after ignoring my constant recommendations to watch it since it first began!
Tried going shopping for some new shoes but haven’t bought anything so far… Need some quite desperately!
I made some minor updates to my website code midweek to improve how the layout is displayed in the dreaded Internet Explorer but found out late on Sunday night that this now causes problems in Safari. I always design with Firefox in mind but I am never sure that everybody else sees it how I have created it. Will try and tackle some of the problematic code early next week.
Finally, this week me and Claire paid a small tribute to Micheal Jackson by dancing non-stop to: Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough!
